It fits sooo good. I got a XXL and it's very flattering becausethe elastic in the waist gives me a good figure. I sewed the front together because I don't like the fish mouth thing that happens to button downs. Very light weight but not see through. And I got 2 compliments in one day.

I absolutely love this dress! Got it today and purchased another one. I ordered XXL since some comments said a true fit, others said it was a little tight in the waist and bust. I am usually a 12-14. It is big, not uncomfortable at all. Maybe an XL would have been okay? But I can have the top a little baggy at the waistline or have it hang more on my hips, which looks more flattering on me. The length is perfect. (just above my ankles. I am 5.3) Quality material.

I am very hard to please with dresses. I am 5’7’, around 170 lbs (more or less) but the main concern is I have big girls. So even if I would easily fit into a large, I have to get a X large just to accommodate the girls. This dress is perfect. If I would have got a dress with no waist line, I would have looked pregnant. Same if you get an empire style dress. This dress has a lower waistline and since it’s elastic, it’s very forgiving. Also, the fabric is rayon, so it’s not a sweaty polyester kind of dress. It feels soft and airy.

I love this dress! I purchased it for my son’s first birthday party and have worn it a few times to work and other social functions since. The fabric is silky smooth and lightweight - it does wrinkle slightly but not a dealbreaker for me. A quick steam does the trick! I love that the buttons make the modesty at both the chest and legs adjustable. The tie at the waist also allows you to determine how much cinching you want. I usually don’t go for dresses this length, but the slits in the side give enough movement and showing of the legs to make it very flattering. The short sleeves are also very flattering. I do wish they had some solid colors - a black or a burnt orange/brown would be great! I plan on using this as a transition piece to fall.
